Hi, my name is LeRoy Hill. I was born on
the Island of Dominica, but was raised in Anguilla. My hobbies
are:
- Computer Programming
- Listening to Music
- Singing
- Photography
- Computer Gaming
- Reading
I attended the Albena-Lake Hodge Comprehensive School in , Anguilla. Upon obtaining a high
school education I applied and was accepted at C.U.C. I recently completed
a degree in Social Studies and is presently teaching
in Anguilla. In fact, I love to teach. I am a strong advocate of student-centered
education and believe that teaching students the theories are important; but what is even
more important is teaching students to be envisioned thinkers, who can analyze, strategize
and find solutions to problems that bombard us daily in the Caribbean. Hitherto, Students
will be less reflectors of other mens' thoughts--and be creative and innovative in a
society where ideas and innovations are belittled. In such a scenario, I rise, to the
challenge to dream and be creative. In October of '95, I completed a research
on Homogeneity in Anguilla. I am also looking forward in the near future to launch
into a Masters Degree Program.
I am new to the internet--I am eager to learn more of the magnanimous and widely
acclaimed "Super Information Highway". In Caribbean local parlance I would say,
" 'ts something that me ehh fully understand yet". Nevertheless I rise, like the
morning star, behind the dark cloud. My sincere thanks and greetings go to all my friends
at CUC-"dear old CUC, my heart is loyal beating"
